What you will do

The CO2 footprint of existing water treatment processes can be significantly reduced by a method combination of membrane technology and photocatalysis. Within the scope of a master thesis, the reactor development, reactor characterization and scale-up from laboratory scale to a pilot plant shall be conducted.
- Literature review (state of the art and current research, working methods and efficiency determination).
- Planning and construction of laboratory setups, design of experiment (DoE), and conduct of experiments.
- Data evaluation, interpretation, comparison with literature, and presentation of results.
What you bring to the table
- You are a student of process engineering, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, chemistry, mechanical engineering, or related field.
- You have expierience working in chemical laboratories.
- You are confident working independently and you are a good communicator.
- You are computer literate (MS Office).
- You are able to lead a scientific discussion in English (or in German).
- It is possible to conduct the work completely in English.
- You will be encouraged to operate independently supported by our scientific and technical experts.
