You’ll join more than 6,000 CARIDIANS already working on the latest vehicle features and functions like automated driving, state-of-the-art charging technology, as well as a new digital ecosystem. In the "Connectivity Functions" department, our role is to connect cars with smart devices and other close infrastructure ranges using WIFI, Bluetooth, BLE, WLANp, CV2X and USB. We also develop end-to-end customer functions including hands-free telephony, device management, WIFI hotspot, Projection Mode and tethering.
We are looking for a working student to support us in analysing the errors and test cases in in vehicles across the VW brands. By carrying out the reports and analysis, you will leave a profound impact in improving the overall driving experience.
- Define and execute test cases for various connectivity topics.
- Support specialists in debugging integrated connectivity solutions.
- Automate testing scenarios.
- Participate in test drives for testing for reproduction and retesting.
- Flash, code and build-up of test benches and vehicles.
- Verify latest connectivity features in real vehicle environment.
- Write tools and scripts for process optimization.
- Good to very good academic performance
- Enrolled student in electrical engineering, IT or equivalent field.
- Interested in the latest wireless technologies
- Knowledge in programming and scripting.
- Proven "hands on mentality,"
- Fluent in English.
- Duration: 6 months
- 20 h/week, up to 35 h/week during semester break (for working students)
- 50% onsite prescence 50% remote
