ES Europe Manufacturing Manager - hybrid in Vreden bei Mitsubishi Chemical

About the role:

You are responsible for delivery of an effective integrated manufacturing operation across the various ES Europe sites (goal is to be virtually one ES Operation in Europe). Working towards world class safety and operational excellence practice, you maximises the utilisation of the regional assets and develop the forward investment plan needed to meet the business aspirations. You collaborate very close with the commercial team to jointly deliver and develop profitable business for ES Europe along defined strategic and Must-Win-Customers.

The location could be Vreden/ Germany or Tielt/ Belgium.

Your Responsibilities:

• You are responsible to manage the ES Europe sites to deliver world class safety performance and ensure learning is shared within our company
• You provide input to the regional improvement plan for ES&S and link with the global product line team to develop and share best practices
• Based on Manufactures Excellence you implement a KPI-Driven improvement processes. This includes management of the cost base and deliver of year-on-year improvements of productivity across all ES sites
• You optimise ES operations to deliver improved overall utilisation of assets
• You develop the network of 3rd party machine shop and manage the outsourcing of Tasks to balance workload across the European sites
• In conjunction with the Product line team you manage the capital planning to sustain existing capabilities and identify growth areas and stay up to date with latest available techniques
• You deliver a centralised order/quotation management system to allow the business to operate as a single virtual site with flexibility across sites.
• You are responsible for the ES Europe teams to support profitable growth as a customer centricity organization.
• you engage together with the ES Operations and Commercial Team to ensure execution of the must-win customer concept.

Your Qualifications and Skills:

• You hold and universtiy degree, prefered in Electronics/Mechanics or Process Engineering
• Since several years you have experience in a similar position and influence change in matrix organizations
• You are a highly experienced history of setting high standards, combined with team development skills and manage a similar plant
• You have coaching, organisation, thinking and communication skills
• Fleunt in English, German and Dutch is a plus
• Good knowledge of standard Microsoft products and other software applications related to the job
