You are a qualified lawyer with experience in investigations, you are highly motivated to drive a Compliance Management System at a global energy company forward and are looking for the next step in your career? - You will manage complex and highly-sensitive national and international Compliance cases of suspected fraud together with the RWE audit function, planning and conducting forensic interviews , as well as developing and monitoring remediation measures where needed
- You will confidently handle whistleblowing reports, manage the whistleblowing hotlines on global level and be a trusted advisor for internal stakeholders involved in whistleblowing processes
- You will manage and improve a robust compliance policy framework that meets international standards
- You will design engaging training and communication activities, including speak-up initiatives, for relevant target groups on group-wide level
- You will continuously monitor the statutory and regulatory compliance framework developments, derive relevant strategic measures, actively sharing and implementing best practices for the international Compliance community at RWE
Your powerful skills
- Relevant work experience at an industrial company (legal, compliance, audit, etc.) a law firm or supervisory authority
- University degree in law with an above-average result
- Sound professional experience in handling whistleblower reports and conducting internal investigations, ideally in the area of white-collar crime and with exposure to international environments
- Exceptional communication skills in English and German and cultural sensitivity
- High level of integrity, reliability and confidentiality
- Self-assured and empathetic personality to handle conflicts, with the ability to prepare complex topics for different target audiences and present them confidently at different levels
- Team player with structured and independent way of working, ability to come up with pragmatic or creative solutions
- High drive to proactively seek and implement solutions as well as the ability to win people over and convince them of your ideas
- Advantageous, but not a must
- Knowledge of the relevant areas of civil law, data protection, criminal and labor law is an advantage
