The “Delivery Unit E³ 1.1.” has the full End-to-End responsibility over the entire life cycle of the E³ architecture from requirements, to steering the development via release to field support.
Our tasks include the definition of customer needs together with the VW Group brands, the commissioning of the “Tech Centers” with the development of products and functions, holistic monitoring of project progress, escalation and resolution of target conflicts. The “Delivery Unit” is the defined interface to the brands.
The “Integration and Test” team is responsible for steering the integration of all CARIAD developed ECU’s and functions into one working compound. Therefore the team will define how to integrate and test, define when which function will be experienceable, closely monitor the product maturity incl. defect management and resolution and ensure from our CARIAD-side to achieve the SOP of the VW Group brand cars.
- Responsible for the compound test management of all necessary ECUs, apps, backend and functions regarding a specific project within the E³ 1.1.
- Steer the (compound) test management together with the regarding development units in CARIAD and with the brands of the VW Group
- Define and track the compound test plan
- Define corresponding test cases and steer the test automation
- Be a sparring partner for the system test manager
- Provide transparency with lean and clear reports and KPIs
- Challenge existing processes and procedures and optimize speed and effectiveness
- Diploma / Master or similar education (e. g. computer science, electronics, …)
- Experienced (with proven record) in Test Management of automotive functions, complex systems or compound testing
Experienced in project management with an independent and structured working methods - Beneficial: Experienced in development of complex systems (e.g. infotainment systems, ADAS systems, …)
- Analytical understanding of complex systems & environments
- Innovative and courageous thinking in order to define and implement cutting-edge solutions
- Business-fluent in German and English
