A Snapshot of Your Day
As direct engineering contact you support the project management in engineering related topics during outage preparation, customer communication and outage execution onsite and back-office for our Large Gas Turbines fleet. You support the planning and accompany power plant shutdowns and revisions for different projects with long-term maintenance contracts. This includes planning outage scope, spare parts, needed special tools in close collaboration with the overall project manager, field service and other interfaces. Using software applications such as MS-Office, SAP, Sedop and various other tools, you will plan the outage scope in advance of actions and provide on-site support to the project during shutdowns.
Through site visits you will ensure a fast response and adaptation to spontaneous influences.
By creating revision concepts, you support the project management and generate possible cost savings and additional product business.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Technical support of installed gas turbine fleet primary in Europe and Africa
- Preparation of maintenance outages covering core engine and auxiliary systems inclusive evaluation of RCIE measures
- Perform risk evaluations and related mitigations regarding scheduling and scope definition of maintenance outages
- Prepare and participate in internal and external customer meetings
- Leading clearing teams for large gas turbines with significant findings or damages by coordinating component specialists, field service
- Drive RCIE R&D programs and related sub programs
- Maintain outage related data (fleet experience, risk data base, etc) and align within engineering network
- Support service engineering hubs regarding and supports coordination of and participate in 24/7 hotline
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering/technical field with a long term of professional experience, Master’s degree preferred
- Good engineering network preferred
- Good command of written and spoken English and German
- Be open and inclusive

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
