As a Data Scientist (m/f/d) in Process Development, you will start in the Production Process Development department and support the development and optimization of manufacturing and measurement processes for sensors used to determine diabetes-related parameters.
Your key responsibilities
- You coordinate the setup and further development of a database that contains all relevant manufacturing data and enables development-related decisions.
- You regularly conduct multivariate correlation analyses and support DoE-based investigations.
- You support the creation of calculation algorithms for sensor-based measurement systems.
- You perform statistical evaluations of relevant manufacturing processes and contribute to their continuous improvement.
- You coordinate the data infrastructure for development-related configuration management.
- You are responsible for GMP-compliant documentation and initiate the creation of all necessary development-related documents as part of your duties.
Your Profile
- Completed degree in natural or engineering sciences in the field of computer science, physics, statistics, mathematics, or similar.
- 5+ years of professional experience in R&D in the development of medical devices.
- Several years of professional experience as a Data Scientist (m/f/d) in machine learning / AI, preferably in the development of medical and diagnostic products.
- You are familiar with best practices for code generation, code documentation, data security, and compliance in cloud-based data science workflows.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma as well as basic knowledge in biochemistry and clinical chemistry.
- Personally, you impress with social competence and strong communication skills in interdisciplinary collaboration, as well as motivation and negotiation skills.
