Die Lieferkettenmanager von TE Connectivity sind für die termingerechte, kostengünstige Beschaffung, Bestandskontrolle, Planung und Qualitätskontrolle der Fertigungsmaterialien verantwortlich. Sie stellen die planmäßige Verfügbarkeit von Materialien der Lieferkette sicher sowie die Aufrechterhaltung der festgelegten Lagerbestandsmengen. Sie koordinieren und integrieren den Material- und Informationsfluss zwischen den Lieferanten, Herstellern, Distributoren und Kunden und ermitteln Möglichkeiten zur Verbesserung der Effizienz, Effektivität und Möglichkeiten der Lieferkette. Die Ressourcen sind auf fortlaufende Verbesserung der Materialbewegung durch die Fertigungsprozesse fokussiert und die Erstellung von wichtigen Leistungskennzahlen und Benchmarks Überprüfung der tatsächlichen Leistung gegenüber den Zielvorgaben.
