(Freelance) Community Moderator for Turkish (Part-time, 15-17h/week) in Home Office bei Tandem

We’re looking for a native Turkish speaker who is fluent in English and loves interacting with different people. Knowledge of additional languages, especially Arabic, is an advantage. You should be ready to work hard to delight our members at every touchpoint. Your role is integral to the smooth running and growth of Tandem - our goal is to turn all Tandem members into Tandem advocates!

Here you will:

• Respond to members' questions and queries.

• Collaborate with the wider community team to resolve issues reported by the community quickly and efficiently.

• Review members’ reports against our community principles and guidelines.

• Adapt our support processes for the Turkish market and stay updated with new features, trends, and expectations of our Turkish community.

This role reports to the Community Manager. You will work closely with other community safety moderators.

• Native or fluent Turkish speaker fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a bonus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Turkish and English.

• Proactive problem solver with an interest in mobile apps and learning new software tools.

• Experience in customer support or community management, comfortable dealing with sensitive topics and willing to help people.

• Owns a laptop or desktop computer with stable WiFi.

• Remote position.

• Freelance contract, minimum of 15 hours per week remotely.

• May be offered to work extra hours occasionally.
