We have a fantastic opportunity for a machine learning engineer to join our Digital Imaging Development team based in Hamburg. This role is part of the 6 month internship program starting 1st of March. What you’ll do:
As an Entry-Level Machine Learning Engineer on our Engineering team, you'll be at the intersection between Application Development and machine learning with the goal of empowering every user's creativity through AI. You'll collaborate with experts to design, train and implement machine learning algorithms and contribute to our application architecture. From cleaning and prepping data to building and deploying ML models, you'll be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights. If you're eager to work on high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment, this role offers a unique opportunity to do just that. What you’ll need to succeed:
Enrolled at university with graduation in 2025
Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with libraries such as PyTorch, NumPy, etc.
Familiarity with fundamental computer vision skills, such as image processing, feature extraction and basic object recognition.
Understanding of fundamental machine learning algorithms and models (Convolution- and Transformer-based networks).
Experience with development tools such as git, IntelliJ, VS Code, or similar tools. Nice-to-Have Skills:
First-hand experience with segmentation, inpainting and other CV-related models
Exposure to initial stages of developing generative models in the latent or pixel diffusion domain is a plus.
Deployment experience with frameworks such as CoreML and/or ONNX
