BEING PART OF OUR TEAM, YOU WILL:

Design and enhance software solutions for Garmin's next generation inReach applications.
Help evaluate new technologies, features and functions and offer suggestions.
Join a group of passionate and committed developers.
Have the possibility to mentor less experienced engineers or get involved in our academy/internship programs.
Implement communication between services using a broad range of technologies.
Utilize modern technologies such as .NET Core, Blazor, and Cloud platforms.
Add value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions.

YOUR PROFILE

Knowledge, education, experience and/or training in object oriented development and a familiarity with databases and source code control.
Good knowledge of a wide range of technologies including but not limited to C#, ASP .NET MVC, .NET & .NET Core, Web API, Azure services, Micro-services/Distributed systems, MSSQL, Entity Framework/Core, Asynchronous programming, Design Patterns.
Work experience with JavaScript ES6, HTML5, CSS3 or any frontend development frameworks.
A bachelor of science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a technical field relevant to the essential functions of this job description and minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
English proficiency.

Would be a great plus if you have:

Expertise with VoIP solutions (openSIPS/Kamailio, FreeSWITCH).
Work experience with different types of media processing.
Skills in C/C++ programming.
Linux operating system and configuration knowledge.
Experience with working as part of an Agile (especially Scrum) or Kanban team.
Knowledge and experience with IaC tools, like Terraform.
Experience with configuration and maintenance of/for CI/CD pipelines.
