SMAL is looking for a passionate Front-end Developer to join our Munich team. SMAL is a global design, development and innovation agency, helping brands understand their customers so they can connect with them through their product offerings, and ultimately create a beautiful experience. Our core capabilities are product and interaction design, as well as design research, visualization, animation and packaging services.

As Front-end Developer, you will be part of our Development team which is a multidisciplinary mix of front-end, back-end and App developers. The right developer will have experience across a broad spectrum of applications, with a specific interest in software design and development. What we are looking for:

At least 1-2 years experience working as a front-end developer
Deep knowledge and experience in working with HTML, CSS, Javascript, Typescript, ES6+
Experience in using Angular 2+ is a plus
Experience with Python, PHP, SQL is a plus
Creative problem-solving skills
The openness and understanding to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features
Experience in UX design is a plus
Unit-testing coding knowledge and a strong understanding of Git, including branching, merging and tagging
Enthusiasm for bug fixing and improving performances of different applications
Eagerness to continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
The desire to work with a team of developers and designers to implement innovative products for our clients
Proven work experience in software development, also showing experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Experience in Shop development is a plus (Magento, Shopify, etc.)
