The Industrial Automation Business Unit is seeking an internship candidate to support our research and development team and R&D activities on motor and motion control products and future technologies.
This is an opportunity to directly work on the development of modern and high-end electronic products and projects with an international team of engineers. The tasks will be manifold and can range from algorithm development and simulation on FPGAs or microcontrollers, to prototype and proof-of-concept testing and in-application verification, as well as to tool- and final product development support.
The final internship topic will be discussed during the application phase based on the candidate’s focus and qualification.

Qualifications
- Experience in electrical engineering, Control Theory, Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, or similar field
- Experiences in using/coding/debugging C/C++ and Python
- Experiences in using/programming microcontrollers (ARM)
- Lab testing experience using common typical test and debug equipment (Oscilloscope, DMM, …)
First experiences in the area(s) of electrical motors and motion control, robotics, and/or control theory would be a strong benefit!
Soft Skills
- Highly motivated and willing to learn and adapt.
- Hands on!
- Verbal and written understanding of English language.
- Good communication skills as the work will be done within an international team of engineers.
