As a Principal Engineer for Technology Development, you will act as a key driver in our growing Automotive Microcontroller Team to define the technology platforms for our next product generations.

In your new role you will:
- Own the technology platform interface for our product architecture team to the Silicon Foundries for our existing and next product generations based on advanced CMOS technologies
- Actively driving the quality and device/interconnect reliability management based on a profound understanding of CMOS device physics and state-of-the art fabrication techniques
- Engaging into the technology assessment and product ramp-up phases as key technical expert for standard advanced CMOS technologies as well as embedded Non-Volatile memory (eNVM) technologies
- Ensure the technology platform competitiveness with respect to costs and KPIs by actively engaging in the Silicon Foundry Ecosystem
- Closely cooperate with different teams, such as platform architects, technology & reliability experts, foundry interfaces, product development & ramp-up teams and central design enablement
- Own and drive differentiation strategies within our broad range of advanced CMOS technologies, wrt. availability, safety, security, and automotive quality
- Expert consulting of line and project management incl. clear technical direction setting wrt. to lean development and cost-awareness

Beyond, you are best equipped for those tasks if you have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technology development of advanced CMOS technologies, including embedded NVM
- A technical leadership position and experience in Silicon Foundry engagement and/or technical management is necessary
- A deep understanding of CMOS devices including flash-based and alternative eNVM concepts and their integration challenges
- Expert knowledge in reliability and variability effects and their modeling techniques
- Hands-on experience in product ramp-up incl. ownership for quality, reliability and yield
- The Passion to find solutions for the complex technology-design interdependencies of advanced CMOS technologies and digital and mixed signal/high-speed building blocks
- The ability to understand product platform requirements and trade-offs from a holistic point of view
- Remarkable technical leadership capabilities combined with good communication skills
- The ability to work in cross-functional teams and a multicultural environment
- Fluent English is a must; German is appreciated
