Who are we looking for?
You will be working with a variety of customers in academic, pharmaceutical, clinical and material science research and ensure that our customer make maximum use of their system that they invested in to explore the microscopic world of nano-structures, molecules and large bio-molecules such as proteins.
You will be part of a team of about 20 people co-located in Switzerland and Germany, with a responsibility for a region including German speaking region, Eastern Europe and Middle East. Within your team you are delivering customer value daily by covering our analytical magnetic resonance (NMR, EPR, MRI) systems from the site planning, installation, customer acceptance to life cycle support including repairs, spare parts and consumable support, as well as lab relocations.

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) for a home office based position in South- East Germany or Austria
Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten:
After a thorough introduction and training on our magnetic resonance systems you will be responsible as Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) for the maintenance and commissioning of complex subsystems and magnetic resonance spectrometers. An interdisciplinary team of chemists, physicists and engineers will support you. You will contribute with your ideas and suggestions to maintain and further develop the quality of our products. You will have the opportunity to test your knowledge in a customer- and service-oriented manner in worldwide assignments.
Your responsibilities:
- You will perform installations, service work and maintenances.
- You will conduct helium and nitrogen filling services of customer magnets
- You will perform computer and software upgrades.
- You will guide customers to issue resolution via phone, email, and remote channels
- You will become a product expert and understand each customer’s needs to provide real, effective solutions and deliver effort-less customer service
- You will problem-solve customer challenges and educate them on additional features or use cases for the product/service
- You will support the regional and market sales teams on new sales and campaigns (e.g., consumables)
- You will contribute to the service planning and dispatching in the region

Qualifikationen:
- Master's degree or doctorate in a natural or engineering science or comparable education with high technical understanding
- 3 years of professional experience desirable
- Experience with Bruker BioSpin spectrometers desirable
