Tasks
As a Business Development Intern, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our company. You will be involved with generating new business opportunities and building strong relationships with potential clients. Your primary role will be to identify and qualify leads, develop and execute effective sales strategies, and help the company achieve its revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
1. Prospect and identify potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and industry events.
2. Conduct thorough research on potential clients, their industry, and competition to understand their needs and pain points.
3. Engage in consultative selling to understand client requirements, educate them about our products/services, and propose tailored solutions to meet their needs.
4. Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and set up meetings or demos for the sales team.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
6. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in target companies.
7. Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

1. Understanding of sales principles and strategies.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence others.
3. Exceptional negotiation and persuasive skills to navigate complex sales cycles.
4. Self-motivated and target-driven, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
6. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
7. Knowledge of software companies and understanding of customer needs and pain points.
