About the role: As a Deal Design Analyst, you will help to define and communicate our best practices to ensure completion of RFPs and to create successful commercial business models. You will maximize value for our clients and for Morningstar, in collaboration with Pre-Sales, Product, and our Business Development & Sales teams. The sales teams are responsible for helping our clients build their businesses and provide better outcomes for investors. You will be responsible for obtaining a deep understanding of our commercial strategies and sales philosophies and for working closely across teams to provide training and guidance on best practices generally and on deals specifically. This position is based in our London, Stockholm, or Frankfurt office and hybrid attendance is expected.

Job responsibilities:

Provide Project Management oversight of the EMEA RFP process for Enterprise products through:

• Building cross-functional relationship across Product, Pre-Sales, Sales, Legal, HR, and Finance

• Improving RFP processes to reduce cycle time and improve client experience

• Manage cross-functional RFP projects

• Define and refine efficient processes for successful deal creation, streamlining communication, minimizing timeframes through:

• Applying guidelines for pricing strategy which leverage principled negotiation approaches

• Creating documentation and communication on an ongoing basis for training teams on guidelines, exemplary deals

• Working closely with Business Development and Sales teams to understand our clients’ interests and needs, and apply this knowledge to deals Participate in planning to ensure alignment of our planning and the interests of our clients

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in a function such as sales, marketing, customer success, sales operations, or product management

• Bachelor’s Degree required

• Ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and build relationships

• Excellent time-management, communication, organizational, and analytical skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com.

• Skilled in project management and understanding of contract and deal design
