Quality Assurance Specialist in Obrigheim bei BENEO ProtiGreen GmbH

Your responsibilities

Coordinate, implement and maintain the quality assurance activities with associated documentation and audit or inspection requirements at the plant to ensure compliance to the BENEO framework, quality and food / feed safety regulations and customer acceptance. Commitment to the safe production and distribution of food and feed throughout the whole process landscape.

• Administrate the quality management system for BENEO ProtiGreen. Participate in the development, implementation and verification of compliance with all relevant legal requirements for food and feed safety at the BENEO ProtiGreen production site

• Advise and train departments and project teams on documentation, hygiene and food safety issues, ensuring the building and development of competencies in these topics among the employees

• Assist in the preparation, organization and monitoring of external and internal audits and inspections (e.g. FSSC 22000, GMP+, Halal, Kosher, SMETA)

• Be part of an international quality team that assures quality and safety of both food and feed

• Represent the BENEO audit team as auditor in internal and supplier audits

• Participate in various projects for the BENEO Functional Proteins line, e.g. new installations, new products. This also includes the assurance of HACCP, QMS, hygienic design and food safety validations on site.

• Review quality control and product release processes for incoming materials and materials to be processed as well as for all other components, processes and finished goods

• Report and track non-conformities, initiate corrective and preventive actions at the plant

• Process, report and evaluate complaints within the plant

Your Profile

• Bachelor degree in food technology, food chemistry or comparable degrees

• Up to 5 years of relevant professional experience in the food industry

• Knowledge of HACCP, hygiene as well as food and feed safety standards

• Communication and analytical thinking skills

• Ability to take initiatives and work in teams

• Good MS Office skills

• Fluent in English and German
