• You identify and understand the business challenges and opportunities in the field of (sports-) retail and propose and create solutions for them.
• You analyze the daily business of all stores in your perimeter and support the business unit leaders to make better equipped data-driven decisions and strategies.
• You use multiple data sources and methodologies - including but not limited to historical sales, forecasts, customer patterns, and market insights.
• You focus on and formalize strategies to help the business units which are not performing per expectation.
• You will forecast and you propose data driven actions that highlight opportunities and challenges.
• You take charge to review all business level performances together with your key stakeholders - all business unit leaders and the Regional Manager in your perimeter.
• You develop relationships with key stakeholders and their teams through regular site visits to have a multidimensional view of the business to pursue winning strategies.
• You provide ad-hoc information and analysis (in collaboration with the Financial Analysts)
• You play a key role in the monthly closing and monitoring of all business unit PnLs.

• You have a degree in business administration, finance controlling or any similar field.
• You possess 2+ years experience in the area of finance controlling (retail experience is a plus).
• You are strongly skilled in financial planning and forecasting methods.
• You have already worked with data visualization tools and finance information systems.
• You have good command over financial tools like Excel, and other related tools (Tableau is a plus).
• You have a well-developed entrepreneurial way of thinking and acting, you are ambitious and result oriented.
• Cooperation and collaboration are your strength and you approach this empathetic while staying goal focused.
• You are adaptive, passionate about sports and bring your energy to the table.
• You have a good command of the English and German language - spoken and written.
