We are looking for a results-oriented and passionate Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Esslingen in Germany. The Global Supply Chain & Manufacturing (GSCM) / Automotive Systems Design (ASD) Supply Chain Manager is responsible for supervising our supply chain operations which are measured by Bose KPI metrics of Inventory, IOS, Premium Freight and OTD attainment to serve Automotive customers. This position is required to work with internal and external partners as well as with cross functional teams across the Bose organisation to plan and execute end-to-end supply chain operations.
What you'll do:

Manage supply planning of in-house and external supplier’s products to source right parts at the right volume according to customer EDI and Bose business forecast

Manage day-to-day procurement of products from external suppliers

Forecast and manage inventory in days of forward coverage and value. Sourcing this inventory into local warehouses to achieve the company’s financial target by optimizing inventory level

Deal with local OEM and Tier 1 customers for supply chain related issues working with appropriate Bose internal teams and external partners

Manage domestic logistics and warehousing cost and operations

Responsible for receiving customers’ regular mass production orders and forecast and entering the data in ERP system for outbound delivery execution

Manage 3rd party logstics warehouses by setting up supply chain standard operating procedures to comply with customer requirements, monitoring 3PL warehouse operational performance and solving operational problems by implementing appropriate countermeasures

Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction in supply chain operations and logistics and take a lead to a PDCA project to implement solutions

Manage any trade compliance issues, along with import and export declarations, in region, working with Bose Trade Compliance Teams

Work with Bose Transportantion on international logistics, along with managing local issues

Supervise and developing local direct reports
What you'll need:

Excellent communication, written and verbal in local language and English

Deep insight and experience of supply planning, demand planning, logistics and warehousing

Skills in negotiation with the customers and suppliers

Skills in Project management and PDCA Lean Six Sigma knowledge and experience

Ability of managing multi-tasks

Skills in people management and working with overseas colleagues and stakeholders

High level of attention to detail and theoretical analysis
What you have:

Minimum 7+ years’ experience in working in supply chain management in automotive industry

Minimum 3+ years’ People management experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
-
Advanced skills in Microsoft OS (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

ERP system experience (SAP is an advantage)
