Job Description
BA Wind’s Document Management Offshore is responsible for the development and continuous improvement of Document Management maturity and compliance across the entire lifecycle of Offshore wind farms. The team is the go-to-place for the trusted information related to document management processes and associated IT tools. These processes and tools enable our organization and external stakeholders to collaborate efficiently and complete the tasks from any place and in due time.
For our Business Area Wind we are now looking for a
Working Student - Document Management – Improvement Projects
for our office in Hamburg.
You will become part of our Document Management Department with 25 skilled and enthusiastic colleagues who all support ongoing Offshore wind project and sites. We are a diverse department with colleagues located across Northern Europe, and we offer a great extent of freedom to plan and perform your work. You will work independently, but colleagues are always at hand when necessary, and we meet up regularly to share knowledge and offer support where needed.
Help us to achieve our goal of implementing an upgraded IT solution for document management activities in our Offshore wind projects.

Role Overview
As a Working Student in our Document Management Offshore team, you will step into an exciting world where digitalization meets operations. Your primary responsibility will be to support day-to-day topics of our Document Management improvement projects while actively contributing to their successful completion.
Key Responsibilities
Your major assignment will be to support the improvement projects for data migration. Task could be:
- Planning, coordination and possibly facilitation of meetings and workshops with relevant stakeholders
- Support the project leads in planning activities and, furthermore, regular follow ups of milestones
- Support in metadata tagging, troubleshooting, and resolving operational issues efficiently
- Identifying, tracking and updating large amounts of data in accordance to business requirements
- Responsibility for subtasks in the project and systematic status updates thereon
- Support in drafting of minutes of meetings, user guides, procedures and training material
Qualifications - You are currently enrolled as a student in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Management, Quality)
- Strong passion for project management, information management and system optimization
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proactive, problem-solving, and a “can do” mindset
- Ability to organize, analyze and visualize data sets and trends
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment
- Strong English and German language skills, verbal and written
- Competent handling of Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint etc.)
Additional Information - Start date: as soon as possible
- Working hours: 20 hours/week during university term, up to 40 hours/week during term breaks
