Industrial Engineer (m/f/d)
We are looking for an experienced Industrial Engineer (IE) to be responsible for the process design, implementation, and operation.
As a successful candidate you will be able to develop and improve production and engineering processes and have strengths in problem solving techniques. You enjoy guiding team members in problem solving and inspire them for the techniques used.
You ensure through your resourcefulness a high-quality product with the constraints of time and resources. As part of this activities, you act as an interface between R&D, QE and Operations.
Essential Job Functions
- Being an integral part of industrialization & VAVE (Value Analysis / Value Engineering) team
- Develop, configure, and optimize manufacturing processes from inception through to (if needed) validation and ramp-up for the first year
- Work closely with R&D on all design stages
- Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data
- Run DoE and hypothetical testing to evaluate processes
- Do process capability studies (Cpk, etc.)
- Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
- Manage cost and time constraints.
- Provide process documentation (MOP, equipment qualification, MPQP etc.).
- Setup the Data in the ERP-System (SAP / BPCS)
- Set up QPS (Product Labeling System) for NPISet up Oracle Agile (UDI Database) for NPI
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required
- Graduate in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronic engineering or comparable field of specialization
- Some years of experience in manufacturing engineering
- Proven work experience in problem solving techniques (e.g., Lean Six Sigma tools)
- An Eye for details and extremely data driven.
- Driven and customer-oriented thinking.
- Excellent technical skills and going into details when needed.
- Knowledge of process related standards (Six Sigma).
- Willing to learn about process simulations.
- Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills and willing to learn from mistakes.
- Build a good rapport with R&D, Quality and Production.
- Open to new manufacturing technologies and enthusiastic for Enovation.
- Economic thinking and acting
- very good MS Office skills
- Fluent in English and German, written and spoken
