The Proposal Coordinator supports strategic company pursuits, including the development and production of proposals, from the initial step of the go/no go process to developing qualifications, complex multi-discipline technical proposals, and presentation material which are compelling, compliant, responsive and provide a professional image of the company to our clients.
Manage or coordinate response eff orts for client information requests, qualifications, small sales opportunities, presentations, and sections of larger opportunities.
Coordinate sales opportunities and review process and serve as focal point for document content and status alerting Proposal Manager or Pursuit Manager of any potential issues that need to be addressed as early as possible.
Coordinates, edits, and formats writing, and other content provided by others. Also provides original writing for proposal sections when required and as personal knowledge allows.
Organize and participate in response-related meetings, as appropriate.
Promote use of opportunity collaboration tool and is responsible for managing its content.
Proof and edit response documents for consistency using applicable guidelines and templates.
Collect company data or conduct internal/external research as appropriate for opportunity documents in support of pursuit eff orts for own and other offices.
Prepare and maintain sales qualification materials and supporting information in designated information management tools.
Ensure adherence to standards and templates to present a consistent appearance/style in compliance with our corporate branding.
May provide graphics and desktop publishing support.
Actively pursues ongoing self-improvement and learning opportunities to expand industry and technical knowledge.
Diploma/Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 4 years of relevant experience, e.g., BtoB sales in an environment focused on complex technical solutions with long sales cycles and multiple decision makers, experience of working in a large corporate/business focused environment.
Knowledge and/or working experience in a manufacturing or project-based engineering and construction environment would be an advantage.
Strong capability in Microsoft Office suite and proficient use of database applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
Highly structured, systematic, focused on detail, and organized.
