Your future plans
We are looking for an Analyst Regulatory Reporting to join the Banking & Regulation (B&R) team in the Controlling & Risk Management department of RWE AG as soon as possible. The B&R team is responsible for the RWE Group's regulatory reporting to national and international supervisory authorities. We work very closely with the Group's trading unit, RWE Supply and Trading GmbH (RWEST), with a reporting line to its Head of Risk. RWEST, with its global trading portfolio, is our largest customer.
- Daily work on regulatory (transaction) reporting requirements (e.g. EMIR, CFTC, REMIT,...)
- Participation in projects to improve reporting processes and structures
- Review and implementation of new EU / US energy regulations regarding transaction reporting
- Maintenance and development of reporting structures for reporting obligations to national (BNetzA, statistical agencies) and international regulatory authorities for physical and derivative business in various commodities (esp. power, coal, oil, gas, LNG, CO2 certificates)
- Regular transaction reporting for RWEST to BNetzA and regulators in the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Hungary, Poland and other countries
- Internal communication with front office, back office, legal, IT and representatives of national and international authorities and ministries
- Documenting processes and procedures
Your powerful skills
- You have a degree in business administration and/or similar work experience in the energy and/or banking sector
- You enjoy working with various applications and have a good knowledge of the MS Office package (especially Excel)
- You enjoy working internationally and have a good command of German (written and spoken) and English (written and spoken) – minimum level B2 in both languages
- A proactive, independent, structured and goal-oriented approach to work is one of your strengths
- Team player with good communication skills
Advantageous, but not a must
- Energy specific knowledge would be an advantage (particularly in relation to energy regulation, products & trading)
- Experience with ETRM systems (e.g. Openlink Endur)
