Are you looking for a master thesis project? Would you like to discover robotics in manufacturing and how these can be combined with cognitive systems? Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us as a master thesis student (d/f/m) at Airbus Central R&T (35 hours/week, flexi-time).
Location: Finkenwerder/Hamburg
Start: as soon as possible
Duration: 6 months
Afterwards there is the possibility for writing a final thesis, upon agreement with the department.
As an intern you will learn about the potentials of cognitive systems within robotics and their applications to manufacturing.

Join an interdisciplinary research environment
Develop and implement cognitive models within the state-of-the-art cognitive architecture ACT-R for applications in manufacturing
Control real robotic interaction that learns and adapts from the environment
You offer:
Enrolled full time student within Cognitive Science; Computer Science, Psychology or similar field of study
Good computer and technology knowledge and skills (preferably programming skills in Python)
Ability to analyse, anticipate and diagnose problems
Hands-on attitude and ambition to take up with new challenges in cutting edge research
English: fluent
You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
