You are interested in PR for international pharmaceutical, biotech or med tech companies and have a great sense for clients and healthcare communications? You already completed or will soon have completed your studies (Bachelor's or Master's degree) and you are excited about healthcare, medical and scientific communications? Together with our team, you can work on explaining scientific topics to lay audiences, create (medical) communication materials and work on exciting projects to engage with and connect people.

The role is for an Associate (Account Executive) candidate. The successful hire must either be a native English speaker or speak/write English fluently. YOUR TEAM:

Weber Shandwick's International healthcare practice is a team of 5 health communications specialists, all of whom hail from various countries, each being a significant contributor to the strategic development of the business and its growth plans. This is an exciting opportunity that will provide the successful hire with a major client (the largest client across the network) to work predominantly across a range of innovative and exciting global communications campaigns supporting Multiple Sclerosis, Oncology, but also on vaccines.

YOUR TASKS:

Work mainly for clients from the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical technology sectors
Support the planning, conception and implementation of PR campaigns
Support the organization of events and congresses
Learn everything about the communication of OTC and RX products
Interact with colleagues and customers from an international environment

YOU:

Have a university degree, preferably in natural sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or humanities with a huge passion for communications
OR you have a communications degree with a huge passion for natural sciences and medicine
Have a high affinity for digital topics and trends
Gained first experiences abroad or in an agency setting
Speak and write English at native speaker level and, ideally, some German
