In this role you have the opportunity
Contribute to the future of our service technology by conducting research and analysis on various technology stacks and ultimately setting the direction of our service efforts in the years to come while leveraging your skills in C/C++, C# and scripting languages such as Python.
Your tasks
Examine and compare the performance aspects of two main technology stacks (with openness to further suggestions), focusing on network traffic size, failover handling and overall development effort. Your results serve as the basis for your thesis and guide our future decisions on adopting technologies.

At Philips Medizin System Böblingen GmbH we develop and produce patient monitoring systems for the global market. These are mainly used in emergency and intensive care medicine, pregnancy and newborn monitoring, during operations and in anaesthesia.
You are part of an existing Scrum team and thus get a holistic insight into the software development processes that are used to develop patient monitoring systems, starting with the initial idea through to lifecycle management at our customers.
Your profile
- pursuing a degree in software engineering or a related field, with a basic understanding of C/C++, C# and scripting languages such as Python. Interest in researching and analyzing technology stacks is essential, along with excellent analytical, critical thinking and communication skills.

This is our compensation package
- Salary: depending on your professional experience and your current studies, your salary will be 15.44 €/h or 17.29 €/h
