This position is a central role in the Budget & Planning team for CEW hub, covering Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Budget and planning team is responsible for commercial performance management and forecasts for the region.

Key responsibilities for the position include:

• Category Finance Business Partnering
• Financial ownership and strategic influence with Business partners for respective categories
• Brand profitability and sales/ market share evolution analysis
• Product innovation P&Ls
• Advertising & Promotion evaluations and management of spend
• Development of Budget and Latest Estimates
• Ownership and support of month-end closing processes
• Analysis of monthly P&L incl. brand performance and sales growth analysis
• Preparation of BI reporting (local and division)
• Lead Brand accounting for one or more categories
• Development and implementation of commercial tools
• Ad hoc project involvement
• Master Data oversight

A successful candidate will bring along:

• Bachelor degree in economics / accounting / finance
• 2 to 5 years’ experience, preferably with a multi-national company
• Analytical and results oriented
• Strong understanding of SAP-related applications (i.e. BI tools)
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Windows, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong understanding and knowledge of major FMCG dynamics and trade partners
• Promotes Teamwork, is driven and takes initiative
• Ability to work independently and within a team (including professional and support staff)
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English & German
• Requirement of a German visa

This position is temporary for 18 months with the option of a further contract extension or possibility to develop within the company.
