As a Customer Administrator, you will play a vital role in our administrative operations, ensuring flawless customer service and support. You will collaborate with a diverse and inclusive team of professionals to maintain our world-class standards and contribute to the success of our vibrant community of banks and financial institutions.
In this role, your prime focus will be to handle Commercial Administration, Office/HR, and Events activities for the Swift markets Switzerland/Liechtenstein/Austria.
Key responsibilities
Commercial Administration:
- Provide top-quality first-line commercial support as part of a professional and hard-working team within Business Development, serving clients in the financial markets of Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Austria.
- Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate customer requests end-to-end between Relationship Managers, clients, and back offices within a globally active, systemically relevant company.
- Offer high-quality customer and sales support services to the local team, including customer onboarding, tracking orders, following up on unpaid invoices, issuing credit notes and sales quotations, and supporting M&A projects.
- Implement sales and marketing campaigns relevant to customers, including training promotions.
- Assist in and manage commercial projects by preparing reports, statistics, presentations, and schedules/planning.
- Engage with and lead activities with other Customer Administrators from various offices.
- Serve as the personal assistant to the Head of Business Development for Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Austria.
Office & HR Coordination:
- Provide crucial local support, including switchboard and administration services to the Swiss office based in Zurich, remotely from the Frankfurt office.
- Perform external and internal visitor reception duties.
- Liaise with Building Management and local vendors to ensure office facilities are well maintained, acting as Deputy Site Manager for the Swiss Office.
- Coordinate with HR regarding employee benefits or issues and arrange staff meetings and training sessions.
Events Management:
- Coordinate and prepare the office for external and internal events, from both a logistical and commercial perspective.
- Organise client events such as Business Forums in collaboration with the Events Team.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in a customer relationship environment.
- Experience in Office Management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English; Swiss German and French understanding is a plus.
- Ability to work in an open-minded international team with a strong networking personality.
- Experience in the finance and/or ICT industry is beneficial.
- Strong business etiquette to serve our clients in the financial industry.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
