We are looking for our International Cooperation Department
in Hamburg as soon as possible for a
Your tasks:
- Coordination of a publicly financed project portfolio in Latin America
- Management as well as content-related and administrative monitoring of projects of a project portfolio, incl. quality control and reporting
- Participation in the development of innovative programmes, approaches and strategies in coordination with the respective Plan country and regional offices, donor interests and departmental objectives
- Support in fund acquisition and donor communication
- Establish and maintain good working relationship and programmatic alignment with Plan country offices
- Providing regional and technical expertise to the department, to other teams and departments both within Plan Germany (e.g. marketing, communications) and at external partner and network meetings
- Close coordination and exchange within the regional teams as well as with the department's technical teams
Your profile:
- Successfully completed university studies in a subject relevant for development cooperation and humanitarian assistance
- At least three to five years of practical professional experience in international cooperation in Germany and/or abroad (at least three years abroad)
- Experience with public donor procedures in cooperation projects, particulary with BMZ, GFFO, ECHO and INTPA
- Thematic experience relevant to Plan is an advantage (e.g. sexual and reproductive health and rights, youth employment and entrepreneurship, political participation, gender)
- Working experience in Latin America is an advantage
- Very good written and spoken English and Spanish skills, substantial German skills is an advantage
- Very good MS Office skills
- Team player, flexible and solution-oriented
- Ability to work in tropical regions and willingness to travel at home and abroad
