- You will have the chance to participate in a complete accounting closing cycle, with all the necessary steps to ensure an accurate financial statement as a result.
- You will get the opportunity to broaden and test your understanding of international accounting standards and practices by supporting our team in a diverse range of accounting tasks, from travel expenses to intercompany operations.
- You will take on the responsibility for identifying and implementing process improvements in accounting, contributing significantly to the operational success of Emma.
- You will participate in our auditing processes, learning how to prepare and gather evidence for both internal and external audits, and understanding the importance of compliance in accounting.
- You will be trained in the use of our ERP system, familiarizing yourself with its accounting module and how it integrates into our day-to-day accounting activities.
- You will actively contribute to the further evolution of our accounting systems and support the team as we transition to a new ERP.
- You will own a small project from inception to completion, offering you a complete view of the project lifecycle and a tangible achievement to showcase in future job interviews
- You are studying Finance, Business or have a strong interest in business as a student of another subject area.
- You have an infectious can-do attitude and always keep a cool head.
- You are proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- You have a high level of understanding for business contexts.
- You have good communication skills and a good command of English (German is a plus).
- You have a strong sense of responsibility and enjoy working in a team.
- Ideally you're available for 6 months.
