The Group Investment Management (GIM) division manages the proprietary Munich Re and ERGO investment portfolio of approximately €230bn. Within GIM, the Investment Monitoring Team oversees and provides timely information and reports on the Group’s investment portfolio. Thus, it supports GIM’s investment decision making and effective management of Munich Re and ERGO’s assets.

The Investment Monitoring team is looking for a motivated student for a 6-month internship:

Your Job

• Build up investment data catalog to enable effective data analytics
• Support investment reporting and monitoring processes and ad hoc analyses
• Develop analytical tools, support database enhancements and drive report automation
• Analyze, compare and consolidate data source systems and report information
• Maintain and further develop dashboards and reporting landscape

Your Profile

• Studies in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business Informatics, Mathematics / Statistics or related fields
• Basic understanding of capital markets and investments
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python, R, SQL) is a plus
• Knowledge of data management, data modelling and data visualizations (Power Bi) is a plus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Motivated and can-do mentality
• Good command of English

Students from countries outside the EU require a German residence-/work permit.
