Business Development Manager (m/f/d) - Excipients for the DACH Region and Northern Europe.
Responsibilities: - Develop sales of our Health Care portfolio with a focus on excipients, manage existing and new customers and foster new relationships in key markets within the DACH Region and Northern Europe
- Introduce our new excipient range into the different markets and build up a growing opportunity pipeline
- Acquire new customers and projects and collect customer needs that could be transformed into development of new products
- Initiate and lead customer projects in close cooperation with the technical team, our sales force, our Marketing and Operations including Quality Assurance, Regulatory etc.
- Provide technical support to our customers
- Report competitive activities, continuously updating the market database and forecast short, mid and long-term business potentials
- Hold internal and external presentations, representing the Company at trade associations and congresses
Requirements: - 8+ years’ work experience in pharmaceutical industry within a technical and/or commercial role - preferably in business development of pharma excipients
- Have an existing network to potential customers and external partners
- BA or MA Pharmacy, (Bio-)Chemistry or related field in Business Management with work experience in the Pharma Area
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated, structured, self-reflective, goal oriented and team player
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel approximately 50 %
