Research Assistant (all genders)
to work in research and teaching in a limited employment relationship for an initial period of 3 years with a possible extension of up to 5 years. The position is classified according to pay group 13 of the TU Darmstadt collective agreement (TV-TU Darmstadt).
Who we are:
The Institute of Numerical Methods and Informatics in Civil Engineering is concerned with the research of computer-based methods for modelling and simulation of scientific engineering tasks. This includes design, development and application of innovative procedures, methods and demonstrators of information and communication technology for design, construction, management, deconstruction and circular economy of buildings for the digital transformation in Civil and Environmental Engineering. We are characterized by our collegiality and cooperation and are looking for team members who work independently and are committed to researching and teaching with us.
Your tasks:
Support of the institute in research and in German and English language teaching in the areas of digital building modelling (BIM) / Digital Twin, virtual, augmented and extended reality (VR/AR/XR) as well as machine learning methods/artificial intelligence.
