Doctoral Research Position (m/f/x)
Reference number W2493, salary in accordance with the German TV-L salary scale1, pay grade: E13 TV- L, duration
of employment: 3 years, volume of employment: 75 % of standard working time.
Workplace/Department:
We are a young and dynamic team that focuses primarily on the application of quantitative methods to
financial and economic topics. Our main focus is on: Derivatives, Empirical Asset Pricing, and Risk Management.
We have a wide range of contacts and collaborations with international partners.
Job requirements and responsibilities: • Implementation of research projects,
- Supervision and teaching of classes,
- Participation in academic self-administration.
- The preparation of a cumulative dissertation is a central part of your tasks.
- Participation in international conferences is supported.
Your academic qualifications:
• Completed scientific university studies in business or related degree program (e.g. business informatics, industrial
engineering, etc.) with a very good degree (Master’s or equivalent).

further subdivided into levels. Entry-level employees with no previous experience will initially be assigned a level 1 rating. After one year at
