Power Electronics Engineer (m/f/d)

About this role

The mission of this role it to turn all your technical knowhow and experience with power electronics into a wonderful piece of PCBA. This role will involve designing and developing power electronic systems and subsystems for the company's innovative products.

YOUR TASKS

• Designing and developing embedded power electronic systems and subsystems, including DC-DC converters, AC-DC converters, and battery management systems based on GAN-devices controlled by high frequency PWM

• Developing control algorithms and firmware for power electronic systems

• Designing and implementing test plans and procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of power electronic systems

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and electrical engineers, to integrate power electronic systems into products

• Staying up-to-date with the latest power electronic technologies, trends, and industry standards

• Ensuring that products meet safety and regulatory standards

• Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of design and test procedures

YOUR PROFILE

• To excel in this role, you will need a technical education, bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of power electronic circuits and control systems is essential, as well as experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as experience with simulation and design software, such as LTSpice. MATLAB/Simulink and PLECS skills are a plus.

• Several years of experience in developing state of the art products

• Additionally, you will need to be able to think creatively and outside of the box, as well
• as being able to adapt and change as the startup grows and evolves.
