Permanent Contract - Junior Store Manager Kadewe - in Berlin bei Hermès GmbH

The Junior store Manager reports directly to the Wholesale Manager and lead actively in the development of the store embodying the John Lobb spirit of tradition, quality and service.

He/she is the main interlocutor for any questions regarding customers, the team and the Management of John Lobb SIS at Kadewe.

The Junior Store Manager is helping to develop John Lobb's presence and influence. He/she acts as a true Business Unit Manager and is responsible for:

• Defining and implementing the strategy of the store,
• Managing the sales development and more broadly the budget realization of the stores P&L,
  
  • Coaching and animating the teams,
  • Managing the operations and managing the quantitative and qualitative management indicators of his store: Annual turnover, turnover, sell-through, clienteling, customer file, attendance ...
  • Contributing to the construction of the product offering by establishing regular performance analyzes and by going back to its product needs.

We are opening the first John Lobb Shop in Shop in Germany in September 2022. Situated on the first floor of Kadewe, it displays the John Lobb collections on about 50 Sq meters of sales floor.

Main responsabilities

• Define a development plan for the store for the coming years and prevent changes in the organization
• Carry and live this plan daily with the teams
• Ensure a frequent presence on the sales area and implement the necessary means to achieve the sales objectives, and the proper organization and maintenance of the sales area
• Ensure the quality of the customer experience by regularly measuring the performance of his team
• Supervise and animate the team
• Lead operations and manage quantitative and qualitative management indicators
• Represent the John Lobb brand vis-à-vis current customers and develop a new clientele,
• Take an active part in the public relations and communication actions in the store and more broadly in the EMEI network
• Work on the development of the communication plan with the services concerned
• Pilot product offering by establishing regular performance analysis and escalating merchandising needs.
• Carry out, in agreement with the Sales Department, the biannual purchases during the presentation of the collections to the buyers

Animation of the sales team

Actively participate in building a team dynamic by empowering everyone to create a stimulating, light and positive atmosphere, conducive to achieving sales and quality of service objectives.

Conduct annual and quarterly interviews. Set individual goals.

Inform employees appropriately so that they have the elements to carry out their mission.

Organize working time and the distribution of tasks on a daily basis.

Product management

• Ensure that the surface is permanently clean, tidy according to the standards of the House.
• Support the Wholesale Manager in preparing and making product purchases.

Projects

Actively participate in events related to the animation of the store.

• At least 2 years of relevant customer facing experience in luxury retail or another high-end service environment and confirmed managerial experience of sales teams
• Strong taste for sales and management
• Achievement of budget objectives (sales, stock, etc.), taste for challenge and sales, analytical skills
• Expert knowledge of the luxury shoe environment
• Motor and charismatic presence on the sales area
• Monitoring, responsiveness, pro activity as part of a commercial approach

• Fluent German is a must. Very good English and other language is a plus
