Your responsibilities
- Entrepreneurial project developers, enthusiastic to create and develop sustainable energy supply solutions, e.g. utility scale batteries, H2-ready gas-fired power plants, heat pumps, e-boilers
- Lead the development of these Clean Dispatchable Power projects from initial ideation and take end-to-end responsibility by steering the project resources towards technical, commercial and permitting maturity until the approval of your final investment proposal
- Manage the interfaces to other corporate functions in the review process of high-quality investment proposals
- Take ownership to structure the project milestone plan along this journey and establish a strong and clear project governance
- Manage divergent stakeholder interests in an inclusive, yet goal-oriented way
- Gather market intelligence and support lobbying of political and regulatory changes in respective market from a project development perspective
- Execute Uniper’s Clean Dispatchable Power strategy
Your profile
- University degree in relevant studies, e.g. engineering, business administration, economics or physics
- Minimum of 4 years of in-depth expertise and proven track record in actively developing and managing large projects, preferably related to power generation, infrastructure or heavy industry
- Certified project management skills
- Experienced in functional leadership of international teams in business development activities
- Profound understanding of the technical and commercial requirements of the development activities
- Excellent conceptual and strategic thinking combined with the ability to prioritize
- Strong communication and presentation skills, excellent team-working skills, ability to build strong working relationships across the Uniper Group, strong stakeholder management skills
- Creative and open-minded character with entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to think out of the box
- Professional command of German and English (another language of a Uniper core country beneficial)
