Vattenfall is looking for the right person to take the position as “Person Responsible for an Electrical Installation” (PREI) for our German Offshore windfarms.
As PREI you are Person responsible for the Electrical Installation (Verantvortliche Elektro Fachkraft) and responsible for our Safe System of Work for Vattenfall Offshore Wind sites in Germany. This means that you will secure a effective implementation and use of the system and together with the PREI's from the other countries evaluate the system once a year and update it according to the findings
Next to this task, you will secure that the professionals working on the Electrical Installations have the necessary competence, training, authorization and equipment for performing their work in a safe way. At the same time, it is important to ensure that our personnel have the right access to the necessary and relevant systems and documents. You are also securing, that contractors are living up to local legislation and the Vattenfall set of rules when working on Vattenfall installations.
You will specify and approve the maintenance scheme for the electrical installation and manage the technical interface with the grid operators to whom the Vattenfall installations are connected. Analyzing fault situations and applying corrective measures are also an important part of your day-to-day activities.
In addition, you will be an active member of the Electrical Safety Committee reference group and will participate in the audit of Safe Systems of Work on other sites
Your profile
Your profile
You are very interested in tomorrow's technology and want to play a role in the energy transition. You combine this with leadership skills and an elevated level of safety awareness. You rarely lose track of the situation, have excellent planning and organizationally skills, and react quickly in unexpected situations.
Furthermore, you have:
- a completed education in electrical engineering;
- shown specialisation in HV installations (operations alternatively)
- a proven track record(CV) as Verantvortlich Elektro Fachkraft for other operators
- been approved according to German legislation to be the “Responsible Person for an Electrical Installation”
- experience with operations of HV equipment, preferably from operating of HV grid;
- experience with service of HV equipment;
- knowledge of relevant German country specific legislation;
- detailed knowledge of EN 50110 (as well as VDE0105, VDE 1000-10 DGUV… etc);
- experience with planning of training for people working with HV-installations.
- In addition, the following points are seen as important:
- offshore experience is seen as an advantage;
- you are in possession of a driver's license B;
- fluent in English and German;
