THAT’S WHY WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SOCIAL MEDIA COPY WRITER

The English Social Copywriter needs to have a firm grasp on the English language, and be able to write effectively and creatively for social (writing in German would be a plus but not essential). They will work alongside a creative partner within the creative department, to conceive, develop and produce inspirational and effective communications for a top motorsports social account. They are expected to create and develop social content, race communications and brand campaigns, that are exciting and push the sports forward. They must understand how Instagram specifically works and be up to date with latest innovations and trends. They will need to write captions for the social page, ranging from race updates, collaborations, and new product launches. They will need to learn and understand the different racing series, their tones and how they work together on the channel. They will, together with their creative partner, be responsible for realizing the work and involve, planning account, the production department and Client to deliver monthly content and stand out work

A DAY IN YOUR LIFE

Have a firm grasp of the English language and be able to write effectively and creatively, being able to write in German too would be a plus but not essential.
Based on content plans and briefs, develop social communication, (visuals) and copy ideas, often in partnership with an Art Director.
Be able to translate these ideas into impactful executions by writing clear, persuasive, original copy.
Create work that brings the different racing series to life.
Write captions for all the content across the social channel.
Accountable for checking all the content is truthful and complies with codes of advertising practice.
Responsible for the own performance and team performance, as well for leading and guiding junior teams on assigned projects.
Supervise junior staff, train them in relevant skill sets and support them to expand their creative talent
Advise Client on all copy/audio recommendations to ensure an optimal translation of the idea in the produced work.
Present work to Client in a compelling and persuasive manner.
Able to argue/defend creative rationale with cohesive and grounded arguments.
Ensure feedback from Client and Account is objective based and not executional.
Oversee content through from conception through the production stage to completion.
Liaise with internal designers, production and external production to realize the work.
Work on several content pieces at once, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines.
Meet deadlines and maintain work quality in all reasonable circumstances.
Proofreading copy to check spelling and grammar (final proofing from 3rd party).
Work closely with traffic and account to schedule, realize and monitor all projects.
Great organizational skills.
