About PU Security Entrance Control & Revolving Doors:
We are a newly established product unit within the ASSA ABLOY family. Our mission revolves around the development and maintenance of cutting-edge products, including revolving doors, speed gates, portals, and exit lanes. These innovative solutions are utilized by our global customer base on a daily basis, making a significant impact worldwide.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer (f/m/d). In this position, reporting directly to our Head of Product Development, we offer you the opportunity to become part of a cooperative corporate culture at our location in Mahlberg (Germany), where you can shape a fulfilling career.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Role Focus: Develop and maintain embedded software, primarily for advanced speed gates and exit lanes.
- Team Integration: Integral part of the global software and electronics R&D team.
- Active Contribution: Actively participate in specifying, implementing, and testing new and existing control systems.
Global Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues worldwide, emphasizing proficiency in English.
To excel in this role, we believe you will need:
- Possess several years of relevant experience in embedded software development.
- Hold a master’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or an equivalent field.
- We welcome both junior and senior candidates and will tailor the role accordingly.
- Proficiency in programming languages, particularly C/C++.
- Experience in I/O processing.
- Experience in programming for sensors and actuators.
- Familiarity with DC motor control.
- Proficiency in scripting languages, with a preference for Python.
- Experience with issue handling systems like JIRA.
- Basic knowledge of electronics.
