Head of Machine Shop
- You will be responsible for managing the maintenance of our plant in Heidelberg in line with deadlines, quality and costs. This includes highly automated production lines with robotics and image processing, compressed air generation and distribution, medium and low-voltage supply, electroplating, stamping, injection molding production and the high-bay warehouse.
- You will advise our site management with regard to replacement investments in the plants you are responsible for.
- You are responsible for the cost and investment budget of your own team.
- You are responsible for compliance with health and safety regulations.
- You will be responsible for the professional and disciplinary management of 18 employees, some of whom work in three shifts in the electrical workshop and the locksmith's shop. You always keep an eye on issues such as personnel development and succession planning.
- You make make-or-buy decisions and actively maintain and expand the network of external production service providers.
- You have an electrical engineering technician or master craftsman qualification or a comparable qualification.
- In addition, you have already gained at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a managerial position.
- You communicate confidently in written and spoken German, knowledge of English is an advantage.
- You are willing to work occasionally on weekends or at night, if important work requires this.
- You give constructive feedback and are happy to accept it; driving continuous improvement is always your focus.
