Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated student to join our IT Infrastructure and Security Department for a period of at least 1.5 Years. The team is part of the Global IT division where we turn high-tech products and innovations into a great customer experience.
In this position, you will be supporting the team in various projects in the area of IT Security. You will work both independently as well as closely with various teams within the company and gain insights in different fields.
During your practical training, you will become familiar with the following key training areas, among others:
- Network technology (LAN, WAN, security)
- Server and storage systems
- Applications and web engineering
- cloud computing and applications
- Database systems and Big Data
- service management
- Security management (ISMS, ISO 27001, HIPAA)
- Vulnerability scans and remediation
In addition, you will acquire knowledge in the following areas:
- you learn the basics of programming and software systems
- you will learn about the infrastructure of information systems and the associated security measures
- you learn to identify vulnerabilities in IT
- you will handle security emergencies
- you learn the development of new solutions and implement them
Qualifications
- Study of Cyber Security at the HDWB (Hochschule der Bayerischen Wirtschaft)
- First practical experience in IT Infrastructue and System Engineering desired but not mandatory
- Analytical thinking, team and communication skills
- Conscientious, organized and independent work
- Good knowledge of English and German
