This is one of two administrative support positions within the EXEC office, supporting the Ambassador and the Deputy Chief of Mission. The incumbent supports Mission's efforts to advance U.S. policy objectives in Germany by preparing and disseminating taskers and decision memos to Embassy action offices and constituent posts; monitoring progress and reviewing content to ensure that all briefing materials, memoranda, correspondence, and speeches prepared for the Ambassador are clear, useful, and timely: and receiving, recording and routing incoming and outgoing correspondence. Incumbent also backs up and fills in for the Ambassador's Staff Assistant, the primary liaison for substantive communication between the Front Office and the 1.700 personnel across the Embassy and five Consulates. Additional duties include serving as a back-up Time and Attendance keeper and equipment/supply officer; providing support for high-level visits; escorting visitors and un-cleared personnel within the Executive Office: and completing special projects as assigned by the Ambassador, DCM and the Ambassador's Staff Assistant. Incumbent will be required to access the Executive Office located within CAA space.
Requirements:

Two years' experience in an administrative, office management, government services and/or para-professional environment required.
