Our Process/Chemical Engineers:
- Organize, assign, and delegate necessary engineering and design tasks to produce construction documents in conjunction with a team of engineers and designers
- Coordinate and collaborate real time with other disciplines to develop designs
- Depending on the task scale, will lead or work within a team, or work as an individual designer
- Take responsible charge of the process design, including technical accuracy, completeness, and quality of construction documents
- Analyze and design complex Chemical, Gas, Waste and UPW systems, Manage Process Design Development through standard process design documentation including PFD’s and P&IDs
- Exercise judgment in developing plans or alternatives and work with teams to assure quality plans
- Perform field activities such as observation of construction activities
- Review construction submittals for conformance with the intent of contract and design documents
Here’s What You’ll Need: - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 6 years’ industrial design experience
- Familiar with carrying out HAZOP studies, risk assessments, and safety reviews
- Familiar with Hazardous Area Classification Assessments under ATEX or NFPA rules
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English and German
Preferred requirements
- Extensive experience in design of electronics systems or other advanced chemical process manufacturing facilities
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) status or working towards chartership/professional recognition
