We are in search of an outstanding leader to head the Vertical Management (VM) division within the pharmaceutical sector. As the Head (f/m/d) you will run an organization dedicated to providing global market insights, supporting account development across various Business Units, encouraging innovation, and leading all aspects of requirement management. You will collaborate very closely with the global Business Unit leadership and regional sales teams in order to further penetrate and grow the PHA market share and lead the Siemens Vertical Market (SVM).
Your key responsibilities include:
Effective Leadership: Display strong leadership through clear communication, relationship building, openness, transparency, and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
Team Empowerment: Lead and motivate teams at HQ, regional companies, Corporate, Global, and Focus Account Managers, offering support in budget planning, business reviews, and forecasting.
Talent & Diversity Focus: Prioritize diversity, talent acquisition, development, and succession planning, while enhancing industry knowledge within your vertical market.
Strategic Vision: Define VM Pharma's strategy within the vertical master plan and vertical target agreements (VTA) for regional setups.
Performance Goals: Ensure the market vertical meets financial and strategic targets set by the SVM, maintaining high-quality standards.
Market Strategy: Play a key role in shaping Siemens' market value proposition, covering market coverage, penetration, sales strategy, partnership mapping, and anticipating future trends.
Market Insights: Identify pharmaceutical industry requirements, align them with Business Units, and develop a growth plan, including product development, presentation, and sales measures.
Tailored Strategies: Craft custom strategies for Corporate Accounts, Global Accounts, Focus Accounts, and Regions to increase business volume, customer share of wallet, and market penetration.
Global Engagement: Regularly present to global and regional leadership teams, offering market insights, key account updates, and growth opportunities.
Market Representation: Actively engage and be visible in the global market through presentations at fairs, conferences, and industry organizations, involving frequent global travel and customer visits.
Business Development: Lead strategic programs to drive business development and growth in your regions, sharing opportunities, reference stories, and standard methodologies.
Growth Mindset: Demonstrate agility in thinking, maintain a growth mindset, and commit to lifelong learning.
