Internship/Thesis: Electric Dsi and Simulation in Regensburg bei AVL

We are looking for you:

Internship/Thesis: Electric Dsign and Simulation (m/f/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and simulatie electrical machines
• Investigate the influence of new technologies on e-machine design
• Carry out optimization based on Design of Experiments (DoE)
• Analyze the e-motore and its interaction with the inverter and the gaerbox
• Improve e-motor and e-drive simulation tools

YOUR PROFILE:

• Study in electrical, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or applied physics
• Highly motivated, independent and target-oriented
• Teamplayer and keen on innovation
• Knowledge of electrical machines
• Experience with programming languages and scripting (Matlab/ Phyton, ...)
• First experience with FEM simulation software (JMAG, Ansys Maxwell, Altair Flux, FEMM)
• Proficiency in English

Your ideal profile would also include:

• Basics in E-Motor control and power electronics
• Experience with CAD software
• Proficiency in German
