Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. To support our team in Munich, Germany we are looking for an

Office Administrator & Management Assistant

In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Munich office. Additionally, you will work closely with the General Managers, management members and office team to ensure efficient and effective processes associated with the Munich office. You will also be an important point of contact for our field based workforce.

Your responsibilities:

• Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
• Run all day-to-day office functions: answers main telephone, facility management and handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Support senior management with agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc.
• Admin handling of Telekom (landline and mobile)
• Organizes & coordinates internal meetings & events for German groups (e.g. annual Meeting)
• Builds and maintains trusted relationships with suppliers & service providers
• Ensures activities comply with the applicable Novocure Quality System requirements
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively to ensure a knowledgeable environment
• Have the ability to redirect work and priorities to be in alignment with the strategic corporate goals
• Be able to make sound judgments and escalate when in doubt

Your profile:

• Previous experience working in administration, Customer service or equivalent
• Ability to be at our Munich office 5 days a week
• Detail oriented, highly organized and flexible
• Ability to multitask and meet challenging deadlines
• Self-motivated and able to complete projects with limited supervision
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English to communicate with our international colleagues
