To support our digitalization team in Ulm, we are looking for motivated students in the area of Embedded Software and Connectivity/Internet of Things. An ideal candidate is a passionate software developer, has a basic understanding of embedded software architectures and Linux based systems, some first experience with connectivity technologies and is highly motivated to make an impact as part of an enthusiastic team. Creating passion: your responsibilities

Support development, integration & implementation of modern embedded Linux based IoT connectivity system components
Prepare and support early prototyping of various connectivity standards and upcoming technologies in the Internet of Things and Embedded Linux
Support our activities to ensure a high-level of Cybersecurity
Create and setup continuous integration concepts and pipelines
Support building and implementing automated test systems

Contributing your strengths: your qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related fields
Advanced skills in developing C/C++/Rust applications
Experience in working on and with Linux systems, knowledge of the Yocto Project is a plus
High degree of motivation & ability to collaborate in an agile team
Excellent spoken and written communication skills in German & English
