This position involves heading a team in the Local Product Group Sasbach HUB Energy Distribution – Cluster Enclosures, ensuring continuous and efficient production operations in line with plans, procedures, and quality and safety standards and policies. In this role, you will aid in the transformation of parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner, managing resources to meet production targets.

Your responsibilities

• Leading capacity planning and resource optimization for the final assembly meter / distribution panels and cabinets
• Identifying deficiencies in production, proposing improvements, and overseeing their implementation
• Identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements
• Working with HR Management to ensure that the final assembly meter / distribution cabinets is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed
• Guiding, motivating and developing less experienced team members to reach their potential

Your background

• >5 years of experience in production, working as supervisor with enclosures / meter and distribution panels and cabinets
• Demonstrated experience working on a production line. (Supervisory experience is an advantage.)
• Knowledge of SAP, MS Office, Lean Six Sigma
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
• A foreman, engineer or bachelor in electrical or metal engineering
• German and English fluent in writing and speaking
